SRK had given the title ROBOT

Shah Rukh khan  had given the title robot as it was previously registered by him under his Red chillies . With the same title registered he had  initial discussions with Director for hopefully making out the film.But may be because of some technical drawbacks the film did not happen with Khan.

But then with shankar’s request the title was lent by SRK. Film being a sci fi one and starred by Rajni the title had got a lot of importance. This may be the first such sci fiction to go on for this much of popularity in history of Indian features.
